Exterior Dead Flat Varnish by Decorative Painter is a water-based acrylic varnish designed for outdoor use. This clear varnish comes in a 1 gallon container and is composed of solvent naptha and light aromatic 4.4 Dimethyloxazolidine. It provides coverage of 350 - 450 sq-ft/gal and has a curing time of 1/2 hr to touch, 2 hr to dry, and 12 hr to fully cure at 60 deg F and 50% Relative Humidity.

The application temperature ranges from 60 - 80 deg F with a flash point greater than 200 deg F. It has a VOC content of 92 g/L and a specific gravity of 1.042. This varnish has a mild odor and can be applied using a brush, roller, or spray. It resists abrasion and water, making it ideal for exterior surfaces.

The price of this varnish includes a PaintCare fee in select states including CA, CO, CT, DC, IL, ME, MN, OR, RI, VT, and WA. This non-yellowing varnish is specifically designed to eliminate unwanted sheen variations caused by using semi-gloss base coats with Decorative Glazes, allowing the finish to maintain an aged effect.
