Dead Flat Varnish by Decorative Painter is an acrylic varnish that is water-based and provides a dead flat finish. It comes in a 1 qt container and the composition includes Solvent Naptha and Light Aromatic. With 4.4 Dimethyloxazolidine, this varnish offers coverage of 350-450 sq-ft/gal and has a curing time of 1/2 hr to touch, 2 hr to, 12 hr to full cure at 60 deg F and 50% relative humidity.

The recommended application temperature is 60 - 80 deg F with a flashpoint of over 200 deg F. It has a VOC of 95 g/L and a specific gravity of 1.042. This varnish has a mild odor and can be applied with a brush, roller, or spray. It also resists abrasion and water, ensuring a durable finish.

Dead Flat Varnish is a premium quality varnish that is 100% acrylic and non-yellowing. It is designed to provide maximum clarity with minimal sheen. However, it is not recommended for use over Modern Masters Metallic Paint Collection™ or Metal Effects® Reactive Paints.
