Modern Masters DP400 Dead Flat Varnish 1 qt 12-Pack

Dead Flat Varnish is a high-quality acrylic varnish that provides a clear, non-yellowing finish. It is water-based and comes in a 1 qt container. The composition includes Solvent Naptha and Light Aromatic, with a Coverage of 350-450 sq-ft/gal.

The varnish has a curing time of 1/2 hr to touch, 2 hr to dry, and 12 hr for full cure at 60 deg F and 50% Relative Humidity. It is recommended for application in temperatures between 60-80 deg F, with a flash point of over 200 deg F. The VOC content is 95 g/L and the specific gravity is 1.042.

Dead Flat Varnish has a mild odor and can be applied using a brush, roller, or spray. It is resistant to abrasion and water, making it ideal for various projects. This varnish is designed to eliminate unwanted sheen variations and maintain the aged effect when used with Decorative Glazes over semi-gloss base coats.

Please note that Dead Flat Varnish is not suitable for use over Modern Masters Metallic Paint Collection™ or Metal Effects® Reactive Paints. This stable, non-flammable liquid is perfect for achieving a smooth, matte finish with maximum clarity and minimal sheen.
